Your Role
As a Business Systems Analyst (NetSuite), you will:
Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops to gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements aligned with strategic objectives.
Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and cost reduction across business units.
Perform data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process diagrams.
Build test cases and scenarios, coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure readiness for production deployment.
Review system release notes and assess new features or enhancements for business applicability.
Provide application support, manage configuration changes, and handle ticket escalations within the NetSuite environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of business processes and technical solutions.
Support project managers with risk assessment, mitigation planning, and data-driven decision-making.
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of project management tools, systems, and methodologies.
Develop and manage the knowledge base, and deliver training sessions to support change management and user adoption.
Lead or manage smaller-scale projects from initiation through implementation.
Propose and evaluate technology-driven solutions to address operational and strategic business challenges.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Hands-on experience supporting and configuring NetSuite.
Experience in data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and facilitating workshops.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a structured and timely manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills/expertise
Experience in ERP implementation or enhancement projects.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
Exposure to automation initiatives and process re-engineering.
Experience supporting knowledge management and training initiatives.
Project management experience for small to mid-scale initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
