Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital solutions and business process improvements. You will work closely with business users, product teams, designers, developers, testers, and operations teams to understand business needs, analyse processes, define requirements, and ensure successful solution delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and translating business challenges into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Engage stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
  • Gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, decision logs, and process maps.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.

Business Process Improvement

  • Analyse existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend practical solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and user experience.
  • Develop process maps, customer journeys, and workflow diagrams to support discussions and decision-making.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyse data, user feedback, and operational information to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support business and product teams with data-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.

Solution Delivery & Testing

  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support solution design, validation, and implementation activities.
  • Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios and defect tracking.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, discussions, and requirement review sessions.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, dependencies, and key decisions clearly.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and team collaboration.
  • Contribute ideas that enhance service quality, operational effectiveness, and project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Delivery, Digital Transformation, Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Ability to translate business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirement discussions.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data analysis tools is advantageous.
  • Experience in digital transformation, service design, or process improvement initiatives will be highly regarded.
