Business Analyst

Objective of the position

The BI Analyst / Business Analyst supports Global Sales Controlling by providing, analyzing, and visualizing sales-related data. The goal is to create transparency through modern reporting and BI solutions and enable data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

· Develop, build, and continuously enhance dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) for global sales controlling

· Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends, patterns, deviations, and optimization potential

· Model and transform data, including integration from various sources such as ERP systems

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes

· Perform ad hoc analyses and business case evaluations

· Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting systems

· Support and advise business stakeholders in using BI tools and KPIs

· Translate business requirements into technical reporting and data solutions

· Contribute to the development of the global BI and reporting landscape

· Support planning, forecasting, and performance management through data-driven insights

· Validate data and ensure data quality across relevant systems

· Participate in international projects (e.g., system implementations, KPI harmonization)

· Implementation and fulfillment of the safety manual's requirements

· Implementation and fulfillment of the personnel handbook's requirements

· Implementation and fulfillment of the regulatory requirements

· Acts as a role model in accordance with the Corporate Values of the Ivoclar Group.

Requirements

· Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, or a comparable qualification

· 2-5 years experience in controlling, business analytics, or a similar analytical role

· Strong skills in MS Excel and with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

· Experience with ERP systems, resp. SAP

· Solid knowledge of data analysis and modeling

· Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken

· Strong analytical and structured thinking skills

· High affinity for numbers and attention to detail

· Proactive and solution-oriented working style

· Strong communication skills and team player in an international environment

· Ability to present complex topics in a clear and understandable way
