The Sr. Business Analyst role involves leveraging expertise in business analysis and planning particularly within the Life and Annuities insurance domain. The candidate will utilize technical skills in Jira and Business Process Modelling to drive strategic initiatives and optimize processes. The position operates in a hybrid work model with day shifts focusing on enhancing business outcomes and societal impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into actionable plans to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Utilize Jira for tracking and managing project tasks ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Develop and implement business process models to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis of business data and trends.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to engage stakeholders and drive consensus on project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within the Life and Annuities domain.
  • Monitor project progress and report findings to management highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Support the development of strategic plans that align with organizational goals and market demands.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies to safeguard business interests.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process improvements and technology adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Possess strong analytical skills and experience in business analysis and planning.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using Jira for project management and task tracking.
  • Have expertise in Business Process Modelling to optimize workflows and processes.
  • Exhibit deep understanding of the Life and Annuities insurance domain.
  • Show ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Display problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business finance or a related field.
