Key Responsibilities
- Clean, structure, and analyse large commercial datasets, including GL spend, supplier invoices, contracts, and operational records, to identify savings opportunities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear, presentation-ready outputs for client delivery
- Prepare monthly project reports and post-audit analyses to a professional standard, meeting the 15th-of-month reporting cycle
- Support senior analysts across active projects, contributing to financial modelling, commercial benchmarking, and savings validation
- Manage supplier RFP and tender processes as you progress toward independent project ownership
- Switch effectively across multiple active projects at pace, maintaining accuracy and output quality without close supervision
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal reporting templates, tools, and analytical processes

Must-Have Qualifications:

- You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a business analysis, commercial, consulting, finance, or procurement role
- You have substantial Power BI experience built across real, live projects. If your total Power BI use is under 2 years of active application, this role is not the right fit
- You are proficient in Excel at an advanced level, including financial modelling, data structuring, and complex analysis
- You can manage multiple active projects simultaneously without requiring step-by-step direction
- You are available Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm AEST (Brisbane time) on a full-time contractor basis
- You have a reliable home setup: fast internet, quiet environment, and equipment suited to data-heavy work
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Prior experience in cost categories such as freight, utilities, facilities, cleaning, or labour hire
- Exposure to supplier sourcing, RFP management, or tender processes
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems
