Business Analyst – Data Quality & Capital Planning

Role Description

We're hiring a Business Analyst to support a data-driven platform that turns field survey inputs (asset conditions, photos, scoring, etc.) into decision-ready outputs for capital planning.

This role is focused on one thing: data quality.

You'll ensure incoming data is clean, consistent, and structured so it can be trusted and used for real-world decisions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Review and validate incoming data (QA/QC)
• Identify and fix inconsistencies, gaps, and errors
• Standardize data formats, naming conventions, and structures
• Apply validation rules and ensure completeness
• Support data standards and governance practices
• Assist with scoring models and prioritization logic
• Work across operations + technical teams
• Improve data accuracy, consistency, and turnaround time

Required Qualifications:

• 3–6 years experience in Business Analysis / Data Analysis
• Strong understanding of data structures (not just reporting)
• Experience with data QA/QC and validation processes
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to identify issues and root causes quickly

Experience with:

• Excel (advanced required)
• SQL (preferred)
• Power BI or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Facilities, asset management, or capital planning experience
• Survey or field-collected data experience
• Experience building scoring or prioritization models
• Exposure to data governance or automation tools (Python, Power Query)

Compensation:

$1,100 – $1,600 USD per month
