Business Analyst

Role Overview

• We are looking for a Business Analyst Fresher with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to support business and technology projects. The candidate will work with business and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, analyze data, and support project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
• Support UAT, test scenarios, issue tracking, and requirement validation.
• Perform basic data analysis using Excel and SQL.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project meetings.
• Maintain requirement, process, and project documentation.
• Identify process gaps and assist with process improvement initiatives.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in US Eastern Time (ET) hours.

Nice to Have

• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI or data visualization.
• Understanding of BRD, FRD, user stories, and UAT.
• Internship or academic project experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or IT.
