Job Summary: The Business Analyst to support business process analysis and improvement through data-driven insights. This role involves working closely with process owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to identify optimization opportunities and ensure business needs are effectively translated into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Process Improvement:
- Analyze and assist process owners to identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the delivery team to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate business requirements.
- Focus on the analysis of business processes, policies, information systems, and integration.
- Translate stakeholder needs into understandable business requirements and validate that final solutions meet business objectives.
- Communicate business needs effectively to delivery and support teams.
Operational Information Management:
- Manage operational data across business areas to enhance efficiency.
- Work with business teams, leveraging technology to optimize workflows.
- Assist process owners in finding the best ways to improve current processes and solve problems.
- Conduct meetings, collect data, and analyze process owners information to document, study, and refine business operations.
- Provide education and training to standardize terminology across departments and geographies.
Process Workshops Facilitation:
- Lead process redesign workshops to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Guide stakeholders through process mapping and business process reengineering, ensuring objective analysis and documentation.
- Provide training on relevant tools and methodologies for process improvement.
- Assist in documenting new policies & procedures derived from refined processes.
- Support the presentation of newly improved processes to stakeholders for feedback and discussion.
System Workflow Optimization:
- Identify and recommend best practices for application usage and system integration.
- Assess complex processes, methods, and tools, proposing innovative alternatives to improve workflows.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams in planning and executing test strategies as needed.
- Perform all other tasks aligned with business requirements.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant experience may also be considered as a substitute for the education requirement.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, business process mapping, and workflow optimization. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus. Yellow Belt certification and proven experience in process improvement required.
