Job Summary
The Business Analyst is directly assigned under theAccounting Departmentand is responsible
for providing in-depth financial and business analysis to support management decision-making.
The role focuses onprofitability analysis by category, SKU, and business channel, ensuring
accurate financial insights, cost monitoring, and performance evaluation. This position works
closely with Accounting, while coordinating with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain
teams for data validation and performance alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Profitability & Financial Analysis
. Analyze and monitorprofitability per category, SKU, and business channel(e-commerce
platforms, retail, wholesale).
. Prepare detailedmargin and cost analysis, identifying key profit drivers and loss areas.
. Support the preparation and analysis ofP&L reportsby platform, channel, or business
unit.
. Provide actionable insights to improve pricing, assortment, and cost efficiency.
Accounting Support & Reporting
. Support Accounting in ensuring accuratecost allocation, expense classification, and
financial reconciliation.
. Consolidate financial and operational data from multiple sources for reporting accuracy.
. Assist in month-end closing by providing analytical schedules and variance explanations.
. Develop and maintain standard financial and performance reports for management.
Cost Monitoring & Controls
. Track key cost components including fulfillment cost, logistics, discounts, promotions,
platform fees, and R&R.
. Perform budget monitoring and variance analysis against approved budgets.
. Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring financial control and compliance.
Business Planning & Forecasting
. SupportAnnual Business Planning (ABP), forecasting, and budgeting activities.
. Provide historical analysis and trend insights to guide financial projections.
. Assist in scenario analysis and what-if modeling for management review.
Process Improvement & Data Integrity
. Recommend improvements in reporting processes and data flow between systems.
. Support automation or BI initiatives related to accounting and performance
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or related
field.
. At least2-3 years experiencein business analysis, financial analysis, or accounting-
related role.
. Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
. Advanced proficiency inExcel experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an
advantage.
. Experience analyzing multi-channel or e-commerce businesses is a plus.
