Position Summary
- Responsible for the management of the Material handling assets in the power plant including Coal Handling, Ash Handling, Limestone handling and sand handling systems, including providing day-to-da advice in the bulk material handling plant in support of the operations and maintenance for the combined power assets.
- Provide technical support in bulk material handling plant during overhauls, plant failure situations and optimizing the approach for the full range of maintnenace phillosophies at the plant sites.
- Contribute to the resolution of technical issues inhibiting flexible plant performance through RCAs, CARs, and proposing and implementing plant improvement options, reviewing and implementing management of change.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of material handling system including experience in pneumatic conveying gained from coal-fired power plant
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed or Registered Mechanical Engineer is an advantage
