The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and in compliance with regulations. This role involves diagnosing issues, conducting necessary fixes, and coordinating with external contractors when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform building repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Conduct minor carpentry, painting, masonry, and general maintenance work.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Identify and report hazards; assist in emergency repairs when needed.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Document completed work and submit reports to the Admin Supervisor.
Working Conditions
- Primarily on-site work in offices, facilities, and production areas.
- May involve working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying temperatures.

Qualifications
- At least High School Graduate; technical certification in building maintenance, plumbing, or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in building maintenance, repairs, and replacements preferred.
