Job Description

Perform regular inspections of all fitness equipment (cardio machines, weight machines, racks, free weights, etc.) to ensure proper functioning and safety
Conduct preventive maintenance and servicing according to equipment manufacturer guidelines and GoGym standards
Respond to maintenance tickets and equipment issues reported by gym staff in a timely and efficient manner
Execute basic repair tasks such as adjusting cables, replacing worn parts, lubricating moving components, and minor electrical or mechanical fixes
Maintain a maintenance log per gym, tracking inspection dates, issues found, resolution steps, and parts used
Assist with the setup and installation of new equipment and gym fixtures as needed
Report any major equipment issues or safety hazards that require third-party vendor support or replacement
Help inspect and maintain other gym facility elements such as mirrors, flooring, lighting, and fixtures
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts orders, external repairs, or warranty claims when needed
Support site readiness for new gym openings, equipment relocations, or upgrades
Assist with ad hoc facility-related tasks, including emergency repairs or special projects assigned by the Head of Gym Operation
High school diploma, TESDA certificate, or relevant technical/vocational training
Minimum 12 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or technical support (experience in fitness/gym equipment is a strong plus)
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical repair tools and safety protocols
Physically fit and capable of lifting or moving heavy equipment as needed
Able to work independently and manage time across multiple locations
Strong attention to detail and willingness to maintain clean, safe environments
Must be based in Metro Manila and willing to travel between gyms regularly
Preferably has own motorcycle or reliable mode of transport
