The Assistant Manager, Brand Solutions plays an important role in supporting content ideation, creative strategy development, and campaign delivery for advertising clients, helping to see projects through from initial brief to final reporting. The role supports both pitching and the delivery of branded content campaigns, sponsorships, and events for Warner Bros. Discovery's (WBD) advertising clients across the multi-platform WBD network. This is a regional role that will work closely with the Ad Sales team, internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to support commercial objectives and contribute to revenue growth, under the guidance of the Brand Solutions Manager and wider leadership team.
The role is responsible for the following:
o Support the development and delivery of proactive and reactive creative solutions, with a focus on digital and franchise-led solutions servicing APAC markets across the Warner Bros. Discovery suite of brands and franchises. Focus brands include Discovery, TLC, Asian Food Network, HGTV, Cartoon Network, Warner TV, Boomerang, and DC Asia. Key WBD franchises include Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Tom & Jerry, DC, Powerpuff Girls, and others.
o Coordinate the commercial creative process from concept development through delivery for the Ad Sales and Partnerships teams, with direction from the Brand Solutions Manager and wider leadership team where required.
o Support strategy, analysis, and implementation for client-integrated linear TV, social media, and digital outreach.
o Collaborate with relevant areas of the organisation and act as an internal liaison across functions for approvals and delivery, as well as an external liaison with clients and vendors where applicable.
o Track day-to-day timelines and budgets pre-pitch and through delivery, helping ensure projects remain on schedule and within agreed budgets.
o Monitor and report on project performance and communicate proactively with Sales teams and clients on project status where applicable.
Areas of Responsibility
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
1. PITCH SUPPORT (40%)
o Support the development of creative solutions for Ad Sales clients, both reactively and proactively, with a focus on digital and/or franchise-first solutions.
o Draft basic scripts, captions, and storyboard copy to support pitches.
o Collaborate with all key lines of business (e.g. Marketing, Franchise, Consumer products, Programming, Creative Services, Streaming, Theatrical, etc.) to provide the best possible creative solutions that are on brand.
o Contribute to 360 media strategies and audience recommendations to help deliver optimised, targeted audiences for client campaigns.
o Use relevant research data and external trends to support recommended strategies and tactics.
o Prepare campaign pitch presentation decks and simple mock-ups to support campaign pitches, based on agreed strategic direction.
2. CAMPAIGN DELIVERY & EXECUTION (30%)
o Act as the day-to-day point of contact to coordinate client approvals.
o Coordinate external vendors and internal lines of business to help ensure projects operate within agreed budgets and timelines.
o Support campaign amplification where appropriate, including creative execution, budget tracking, and copywriting such as social captions.
o Maintain a strong working understanding of brand and brand assurance requirements across key brands and franchises to help ensure solutions are on brand.
o Support optimisation of social media and digital campaigns to help achieve agreed campaign KPIs.
3. CAMPAIGN ANALYSIS (20%)
o Coordinate ROI and impact measurement for assigned projects across relevant platforms.
o Prepare post-campaign analysis and capture learnings or feedback for both clients and Ad Sales teams.
4. COLLABORATION & LEADERSHIP (10%)
o Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for campaign production, working closely with Creative and Production teams to support strategic, sellable formats for Ad Sales.
o Maintain a high standard of creative and production quality, demonstrating strong attention to detail and helping uphold agreed standards across assigned work.
Job Requirements / Skills
Essential
o 4+ years of relevant work experience in advertising, creative, media, partnerships, or a related agency/client-side environment
o General knowledge of sales process and dependencies
o Experience in writing and developing creative concepts
o Experience in regional business – working with multiple markets
o Ability to coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders
o Working knowledge of platform-specific tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Adobe Analytics, and Google Ad Manager
o Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Desirable
o Experience in Advertising sales
o Other: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite
o Broad knowledge and experience in web development
o Experience in Basic film editing for short clips.
