I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
The Brand Marketing Associate is responsible for management of new and existing projects as we supply high quality premiums and merchandise to our clients. This includes Conceptualization, Client Management, Sourcing, Product Development, Production Management, and Delivery. This position reports to the Marketing Officer and Marketing Manager.
II. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
CLIENT MANAGEMENT
- Actively participate in client biddings
- Submission of Request for quotation as per client's requirements ensuring accuracy and completeness of data
- Coordinate, review, edit, and design according to Client's requests or needs
- Do charting and monitoring of projects, from development to deliveries in coordination with concerned groups
- Do quality product presentation according to the requirements of the clients
- Responsible in the accreditation of the company to prospective clients
- Work on an effective after sales management to clients
SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Establish and maintain good relationship with vendors or suppliers.
- Contract negotiation with suppliers based on company requirements in relation to quality, quantity and delivery
- Do monitoring of shipment quantity including payment balance, if any to suppliers
PRODUCT SOURCING
- Source new products from existing or alternative suppliers
- Source marketable, quality and unique products at the least cost
- Contract negotiation with suppliers based on company requirements in relation to quality, quantity and delivery
- Conceptualization of new Products
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Design and develop products based on current market trends
- Consistent monitoring of market changes, competitor prices and products
- Conceptualize, design and consistently present new product offers to client
- Prepare a merchandise line up for assigned account or client, in line with season, collection and design directions and latest market trends
- Works with the Product Development Head to complete all necessary merchandising functions in sampling, selecting, sourcing and merchandising of new products
- Responsible in ensuring product information and details for new and existing products is complete and accurate
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Head to ensure all product production based on schedule deadlines are met.
- Initiate communication with suppliers to seek information for new products for development, in terms of approved specifications of client
- Responsible in ensuring samples are received and distributed to client on schedule
- Accountable for reviewing product usability and ensure that product specifications are aligned with company s quality standard
- Oversee all product development stages of assigned projects and monitor activities of merchandising associates
- Develop creative and engaging content for social media and online marketing platform to boost to help promote products and increase visibility in the market
- Must be flexible in accepting assignments and directions each of which can change to meet the needs of the business at any time.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Ensure all activities and transaction made with suppliers and clients are effectively monitored considering accuracy, completeness, and compliance to timelines, to avoid company loss, either financial or reputational
