Overview
This
Brand Manager - NCB role will work on the local marketing team who leads the Non-Carbonated Beverages Portfolio, giving you a chance to work on PepsiCo's global and iconic brands like Gatorade® and Sting®. You are expected to drive the portfolio strategy, lead end-to-end execution, and manage daily business processes and tasks for the portfolio while maintaining strong controls and ownership throughout the process.
Responsibilities
What you will be responsible for:
- Strategic planning development and execution
- Set medium to long term strategies grounded on strong consumer insights and business information. Strategy includes but are not limited to communications, portfolio management, innovations etc.
- This strategy must be translated into actionable execution to achieve business objectives.
- Lead all marketing campaign and communications work
- Development and execution of 360 Integrated Marketing Communications campaign that are consumer relevant and impactful to business.
- Campaign development starts from Big idea and ends with activation legs (mass media, digital, on ground, in-store etc.).
- Comfortable to work with global and regional stakeholders as well as multiple external agencies (creative, media, activation, PR) to bring the campaigns to life.
- Consumer insight and data driven decision making to start, iterate, and evaluate campaigns.
- Familiar and comfortable with media, creative, and PR metrics and KPIs.
- Commercial and business acumen
- Strong numerical ability to understand the drivers and barriers of the business.
- Strong P&L understanding management to ensure portfolio profitability.
- Able to manage the portfolios budget across different working and non working line items.
- Familiar and comfortable with consumer metrics including but not limited to market share, penetration, purchase behavior, brand equity scores etc.
- Franchise Management
- Adapt to the FOBO (franchise owned, bottler operated) franchise business model that requires collaboration and partnership with the local bottler. Able to navigate and translate business strategies to execution in this model.
- Project and business management
- Manage business as usual activities which includes but are not limited to project management, insight and report analyses, administrative processes etc.
- Able to partner with internal and external stakeholders at varying degrees of seniority.
- Ensures compliance with key processes as it relates budget, procurement, and other internal functions.
Qualifications
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution
- 5+ years work experience at a Brand Manager role
- Familiarity with marketing discipline, preferably in FMCG/CPG environment
- Strong Project Management skills - Resourcing and implementation of the project (leads and monitors process)
- Analytical Skills- Can conduct quantitative evaluation and develop assumptions based on findings
- Communication Skills- Presentation of data or information (crafting of presentation decks and articulating information); Articulate, assertive, and agile negotiator
- Familiar and able to navigate complex and matrix organization structures (i.e. working with regional and global teams)
