This is a full-time and regular position. The Branch Supervisor ensures that the products and services of GPMI are implemented by Account Officers in his/her team, according to the Strategic Objectives. Provides support to the team in the Branch Office under his/her care.
Supervisory Tasks
- Creates plan for day-to-day operation of the Branch Office
- Monitors the day-to-day achievement of set plan
- Provides immediate support to the staff in the Branch Office
- Manages financial status of the Branch Office
- Manages total portfolio of the Branch Office
- Recommends plans of action to the Operations Manager
Specific Tasks
- Supervise Account Officers
- Oversee implementation of microfinance products
- Check Account Officers processing of clients loans
- Oversee regular and special events for Account Officers and clients
- Deal with delinquent accounts
- Oversee Implementation of microfinance products and services
- Check, review or validate product and services applications and requirements
- Conduct of Credit Investigation and Background Investigation) CI/BI)
- Facilitate appraisal of loan applications
- Monitor loan utilization
- Monitor implementation of other products and services
- Communicate management plans and decisions
- Evaluate and Support Staff Performance
- Appraise the Performance of Account Officers
- Act on the evaluation recommendation
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the Account Officer in order to improve performance.
- Forward result of the performance evaluation to the Immediate Supervisor for approval.
- Motivate Account Officer
- Facilitate the provision of material resources necessary for enhancing the performance of
Account Officers in field work.
- Identify and implement positive-stroking strategies to motivate Account Officers.
- Recommend deserving Account Officers who performed within or above the performance
standard for awards or incentives.
- Put the Account Officer who did not perform well in the Personnel Improvement Plan,
in accordance with the policies and procedures of GPMI.
