Job Summary
- The Branch Service Officer (BSO) assists the Branch Service Head in overseeing that branch's day to day operations comply with existing policies, procedures and internal control requirements of the Bank.
- Primarily responsible in the clearing operations and end of day balancing and callback of transactions and ensures that all books of accounts are balanced, updated and properly maintained.
- The BSO supervises the daily service operations at the New Accounts Section, specifically overseeing customer servicing, processes of new account opening and other special services being offered at the New Account's counter.
- BSO acts as Control Officer and Unit Compliance Coordinator of the branch, and ensures that effective and efficient system of operation is implemented with least level of risks.
- BSO also performs coaching and training of personnel to ascertain continuity of business operation and acts as a reliever to BSH when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a college graduate of any 4-year course, preferably business course
- Must have at least 5 years experience in branch banking operations with exposure on new accounts, tellering and clearing operations.
- With extensive knowledge in bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
- Customer service oriented and able to supervise people
