About the Role

The Business and Branch Engagement Officer plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic promotion and adoption of business-specific products, channels and services. This role is responsible for crafting and executing integrated marketing campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and internal enablement programs that effectively communicate the segment's value proposition. By collaborating closely with internal channels like branches, product, sales, digital, and analytics teams, the officer ensures that offerings are positioned compellingly to target customers while empowering internal stakeholders to advocate and deliver on the segment's promise.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Segment Positioning & Value Communication - Effectively articulate the unique value proposition of Business Banking Segment (BBS) offerings. Ensure consistent, compelling, and customer-relevant messaging across all internal and external channels to strengthen brand positioning and drive product awareness.

2. Customer Portfolio Growth - Strategically expand the portfolio of high-value BBS customers by identifying and acquiring new prospects, deepening existing relationships, and leveraging data-driven insights to target growth opportunities.

3. Revenue Maximization & Business Development - Drive revenue growth and profitability of BBS customers through structured account planning, tailored financial solutions, and close collaboration with product teams, and other SBC sales channels to deliver the most relevant proposition packages. It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

What We're Looking For:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Attainment/ Required course: Bachelor's Degree, Finance/Economics/Marketing/Management
  • Years of Related Experience: 5-10
  • Field of Specialization- Banking and Finance, Sales, Marketing
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Recent job experience using Excel, Powerpoint and other data visualization software AND experience in developing marketing campaigns and/or customer-centric communications strategy.

How You'll Contribute

Industry Exposure: At least 5 years experience in a retail or SME bank with a track record in marketing and/or customer relationship management. Must have knowledge of basic credit processes, account management, churn management and legal documentation, Knowledge of financial analysis and risk assessment.

Strong communication and presentation skills: Should have strong marketing and account solicitation skills and effective negotiation skills. Must have good interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and a strong customer service orientation.

Other Criteria: Stakeholder Management, Data Driven Mindset, Passion in building customer solutions, Empathy for customers problems and needs.
