Job Summary

The Boxing Content Editor will cover local and international boxing news, fights, fighters, rankings, previews, results, and features.

Key Responsibilities

• Write boxing news, fight reports, previews, analysis, and features.
• Monitor major boxing promotions and events.
• Cover Filipino boxers and major international fighters.
• Provide timely fight-night updates.
• Verify records, rankings, results, and other statistics.
• Develop content for the Alta Sports app and social platforms.
• Coordinate with video and social media teams.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of sports writing/editing experience.
• Strong knowledge of boxing.
• Familiarity with boxing rankings, records, classes, and terminology.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Ability to work during late-night/early-morning fight schedules when required.
