About the Role
As a Junior Bookkeeper at Brainy, you will play a vital role in maintaining our clients financial records and supporting our growth trajectory. You will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This role requires a detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive individual committed to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our operations. Simply put, we need someone who is very competitive and driven to help the business succeed.

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
- Managing clients accounting systems to maintain accurate and current financial records.
- Preparing financial statements and accounting reports, and performing bank and account reconciliations as per client schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assisting in the creation of engaging content for the Brainy website and various marketing materials/channels.
- Collaborating with the marketing, sales, analyst, and creative teams to execute marketing campaigns.
- Handling incoming calls and emails from clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Supporting the onboarding process for new clients.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members.
- Adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks with a positive and determined attitude.
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
We Consider These Critical for This Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, and other accounting related degrees
- Certified Public Accountant License is a must
- Big Four Firm or Fortune 500 Companies experience
- Proven experience in bookkeeping
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in every task
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Bonus Points for Candidates Who:
- Have experience working across various industries and with international clients, particularly in the US
- Are proficient with QuickBooks Online and other relevant accounting software
- Possess strong analytical skills for gathering and interpreting complex data
Job Details:
- Full-time, five-day workweek (open to a dynamic shifting schedule as necessary).
- Graveyard shift with fluid and potentially long hours as required to facilitate business growth.
