The Bookkeeper who will handle all accounting functions (invoicing, payments, reconciliations, loan draw coordination, etc.)
Responsibilities:
We run a single-purpose entity structure, meaning each construction project has:
Its own QuickBooks file
Its own bank account
Its own construction loan and draw process
We need someone who can:
Reconcile expenses and maintain clean books across multiple entities
Process and schedule payments and ensure vendors are paid on time
Track budgets and maintain accurate cost-to-complete reporting
Prepare and submit draw requests under my direction based on upcoming payable obligations
For our client-build projects:
generate invoices and maintain client billing ledgers
Administrative tasks, such as:
Assisting with lender requests during draws, refinances, and new loan closings
Providing standard documentation packages (operating agreements, bank statements, insurance certs, etc.)
Qualifications:
5+ years senior or full-charge bookkeeping
Experience with US accounting practices, especially Cash vs. accrual accounting, Month-end closing, Preparing books for CPA review or tax filing
