Bookkeeper (Reliever)

Location: Cebu, Philippines
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-time, Temporary
Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT
Salary Range: Php 31,000 - Php 42,000

As a Bookkeeper (Reliever), you will work closely with our client to manage end-to-end financial records and compliance workflows. This onsite role in Cebu is an excellent opportunity for an organized professional to take ownership of processing tasks up to the trial balance stage and support tax compliance within the Australian regulatory landscape.

Your Impact

Core Bookkeeping & Ledger Maintenance

  • Daily Ledger Control: Perform daily bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and comprehensive bookkeeping duties.

  • Reconciliations: Execute rigorous balance sheet reconciliations alongside monthly reconciliations for debtor and creditor accounts.

  • Ledger Management: Efficiently manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

  • Operational Reporting: Monitor business performance metrics through active KPI Tracker maintenance.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Trial Balance Preparation: Clean and process accounting files up to the Trial Balance stage.

  • Financial Statements: Prepare accurate financial statements destined for official lodgment with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

  • Activity Statements: Draft and prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with regulatory timelines.

What You Bring

  • The Experience:At least 2 years of relevant bookkeeping and accounting work experience.

  • The Credentials: Graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related financial course.

  • Software & Systems: Proficiency using standard accounting ecosystems including Xero, MYOB, and WorkflowMax, as well as strong MS Office skills (Excel and Word).

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for collaborating within a global team framework.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail combined with a proactive, deadline-oriented mindset.
