Responsibilities
Quickbooks Online
- Maintain and update client bookkeeping files to ensure accurate financial records.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage day-to-day accounting tasks.
- Set up and maintain the Chart of Accounts for proper financial reporting.
- Perform Balance Sheet adjustments and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Match bank deposits to invoices to ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Data Entry
- Perform accurate data entry of client information and tax forms into Intuit Pro Series software
- Handle common tax forms including W-2, 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-B, 1099-R, and 1098
- Maintain accurate records of client income and expenses
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and manage financial data efficiently
- Ensure all client data is entered correctly, reviewed thoroughly, and compliant with company standards
- Support the tax preparation process by providing timely and precise data entry
Requirements
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Certification: Certified QuickBooks Online (QBO) ProAdvisor.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping and high-level data entry, with advanced knowledge of QBO.
- Tax Knowledge: Experienced with tax data entry (Intuit ProSeries preferred) and familiar with common tax forms (W-2, 1098, and 1099-NEC/MISC/B/R).

- Bookkeeping & Accounting: Proficient in maintaining client files, managing the Chart of Accounts, performing Balance Sheet adjustments, handling AR/AP, invoicing, and matching bank deposits.
- Software: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing income and expense data.
- Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently.
