Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Bookkeeping team. In this role, you will provide bookkeeping and financial support to a diverse portfolio of Australian clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely compliance, and exceptional client service. You will work closely with internal stakeholders while developing strong relationships with clients and contributing to the smooth delivery of bookkeeping services.

- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Process payroll, including payroll tax, superannuation, WorkCover, and termination payments.
- Prepare bank, payroll, debtor, creditor, and other account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, working papers, and trial balances.
- Complete Australian compliance obligations, including BAS and IAS.
- Maintain and update client records using Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
- Assist clients with bookkeeping queries and account maintenance.
- Prepare cash flow budgets and support client meetings as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate and timely client outcomes.
- Qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or a related field.
- Xero Certification is preferred.
- At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience , preferably supporting Australian clients or within a professional services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero; experience with MYOB and QuickBooks is an advantage.
- Experience with payroll, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, BAS, and IAS preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
