Location: Clark, Philippines
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-time
Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM PHT
Salary Range: Php 45,000 - Php 54,000

We are seeking a detail-driven, eager-to-learn Junior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and draft activity statements for small Australian clients. You will work closely with Senior Bookkeepers and Australian team members to maintain accurate accounts, execute bank reconciliations, and compile draft BAS/IAS returns for review.
Your Impact
Client Bookkeeping Management: Execute day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for small business clients, including transaction coding, bank and credit card reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable updates.
Activity Statement Preparation: Compile draft Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) under supervision, applying accurate GST coding and PAYG withholding logic.
Team Communication & Collaboration: Coordinate directly with local and Australian team members to resolve client file queries, clarify missing records, and request supporting documents.
Quality & Record Maintenance: Maintain clean workpaper records, update client notes in practice software, and adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure audit-ready files.
What You Bring
The Experience:1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping work within a public practice accounting firm or dedicated professional outsourcing environment.
Software Competency: Practical proficiency in mainstream cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Online.
Technical Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of Australian GST rules, BAS reporting requirements, transaction tax coding, and payroll/PAYG principles.
Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple small client files efficiently, keen attention to detail, proactive attitude, and clear written and verbal English communication.
