As a Bookkeeper & Accounting Specialist, you'll handle key accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial record maintenance, and reporting support. Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Night shift, Weekends off

Work Setup: Onsite, Baguio City

Salary: PHP 45,000 - PHP 60,000

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, or similar accounting roles
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping processes, and financial record management required
  • Proven experience handling AP, AR, reconciliations, financial transactions, and accounting support activities
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is highly preferred for financial tracking, reporting, reconciliations, and record maintenance
  • Experience maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end or year-end accounting processes
  • Payroll processing experience is an advantage but not required
  • Experience using Paychex or similar payroll platforms is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based companies is preferred
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related certification is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, trustworthy with sensitive financial data, organized, deadline-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
  • Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
  • Prepare reports and assist in financial tracking and analysis
  • Utilize QuickBooks, Paychex, Salesforce, and Excel in daily operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete financial data
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
