Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, or similar accounting roles
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping processes, and financial record management required
- Proven experience handling AP, AR, reconciliations, financial transactions, and accounting support activities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is highly preferred for financial tracking, reporting, reconciliations, and record maintenance
- Experience maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end or year-end accounting processes
- Payroll processing experience is an advantage but not required
- Experience using Paychex or similar payroll platforms is preferred
- Experience using Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus
- Experience supporting U.S.-based companies is preferred
- Accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related certification is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, accurate, trustworthy with sensitive financial data, organized, deadline-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies
- Prepare reports and assist in financial tracking and analysis
- Utilize QuickBooks, Paychex, Salesforce, and Excel in daily operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and complete financial data
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
