About The Role
We are seeking a US/Canada Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage accounting tasks for US/Canadian clients. The ideal candidate is experienced in US/Canadian accounting practices and software.
Important: We may interview candidates even if a client isn't ready yet. This allows you to be ready to start quickly once a client requires support.
This is a remote, long-term opportunity for people who want steady work supporting US clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and receivable for US/Canadian clients.
Maintain accurate financial records, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
Prepare financial statements and reports for clients.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with US/Canadian tax and payroll regulations.
Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
Qualifications
Active Xero Advisor/QBO Certification.
Proven experience as a US/Canada client bookkeeper/accountant.
Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks Online, or similar accounting platforms.
Knowledge of US/Canadian accounting principles, payroll, and tax regulations.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to work EST/PST night shifts reliably
