Bookkeeper / Accountant

FlavorWiki is an online market research platform seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant for a full time remote position. The applicant must have a fiber internet connection and should be available during working hours in European or US time zones, 800 - 1600 CET or similar (though not necessarily located in those areas).

The Bookkeeper / Accountant should be fluent in written and spoken English and have previous experience working with remote teams and agile technologies. Ideal candidates will have some experience with online accounting softwares (Xero).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor processing of bills and invoices - entry, filing, reconciliations, variance resolution and all discrepancies.
• Monitor processing of purchase orders.
• Build relationships with vendors to ensure proper processes are adhered to.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial and vendor records.
• Expense processing and reimbursements.
• Monthly expenditures reports preparation comparing actual vs. budget.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual forecasting reports.
• Department process improvements for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

• BA in Accounting required.
• 2+ years of hands-on relevant experience.
• Able to handle multiple projects/tasks and adjust/pivot quickly.
• Punctual and self-driven.
• Proficiency with Excel/PPT/G-Docs/G-Sheets.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience with popular online accounting software. Experience with Xero is a benefit but not a requirement.
