Responsible for selling various frozen meat pork, chicken, and beef products. Receives and processes incoming online sales orders. Duties include informing customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, and delays; preparing invoices; and handling complaints.
Also responsible for collecting cash and check payments from customers and coordinates with Marketing department regarding social media management.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Sales
- Presents, promotes, and sells products to existing and prospective online customers. Communicate with customers through phone, e-mails, and chats. Makes inbound and outbound calls to sell company products and to be responsible for all online sales job duties, from generating leads to closing sales.
- Updates customer database with contact details and interest information from prospective customers. Identifies and contacts potential customers for business opportunities.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains customer relationships.
- Achieves agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Responds to customer queries promptly and professionally. Works independently or in a team to achieve monthly sales quota. Informs customers by mail or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays.
- Prepares and submits customer sales orders to operations in a timely manner.
- Provides excellent services and ensures customer satisfaction. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Researches the latest trends and changes in the market and supply management with market information, item pricing, customer needs, problems, competitor activities, and possible new products.
- Adjusts inventory records to reflect product movement. Notifies departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies.
- Coordinates sales efforts within team members and other departments. Directs specified departments or units to prepare and ship orders to designated locations.
- Promotes content on social media. Update website content as needed. Coordinates with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
2. Credit and Collection
- Obtains on-time cash and check and balance of payment from clients.
- Resolves discrepancies in invoices and balances.
- Answers client questions regarding credit terms and collection processes.
3. Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that maybe assigned as needed.
- Complies with the Company's Quality Management System.
Qualifications
- College graduate of any course
- 1 year experience in sales of fast-moving consumer goods or frozen meat.
- Experience in selling to informal businesses like wet market stalls, sari-sari stores, small meat shops, and backyard processors
- Comfortable going to various wet market locations at different times of the day.
- Proficient with MS Office applications such as Word Document, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with the customers
- Effective communicator at all levels of the organization
- Strong ethics and high level of personal integrity
- Detail-oriented
- Exposed in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
