Job Qualifications
- Certified Plant Mechanic (CPM) or Registered Master Electrician (RME)
- NC II in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) or Electrical Installation and Maintenance (EIM) is an advantage
- At least 1 year of experience in plant maintenance
- Knowledge of boiler systems, electrical systems, motors, pumps, and basic plumbing
- Ability to operate and maintain hand and power tools efficiently
- Physically fit and willing to work in a hatchery environment
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair boiler systems to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of hatchery equipment and machinery
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving equipment failures to minimize downtime
- Perform welding, carpentry, and other general maintenance tasks as required
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory
- Follow safety protocols and company regulations to ensure a safe working environment
