Boiler Engineering Lead

Position Summary:

The post holder will be responsible for leading the project engineering initiatives as well as managing the onsite engineering team under this project. The position also requires the individual being the center of knowledge with regard to design, operation and maintenance for the boiler plant and the associated subsystems. The post holder should provide expert knowledge with regard to inspections, operation and maintenance strategies, boiler and subsystem capability. The post holder must have experience in managing engineering teams. It is expected that all outcomes and lessons learnt from the post holder with regard to the boiler plant will be documented and available for the power plant site personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 15 years experience in boiler operation and maintenance specific to PC fired power plants. Design experience is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a technical team
• Project Management experience is an advantage
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)
• Professional registration is required
