About The Role

As a CBRE BMS Operator, you will monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) to help ensure the efficient performance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.

This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for system monitoring, operational support, troubleshooting, and coordinating preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) to ensure building systems are functioning efficiently and within established parameters.
  • Respond to system alarms, identify potential issues, and coordinate troubleshooting or corrective actions as needed.
  • Review assigned work orders, monitor service requests, and use available systems to track issue resolution and completion.
  • Support energy management initiatives by optimizing system performance and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor building systems for compliance with operating standards, safety requirements, and established procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to Management.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree or Vocational Graduate of any course related to Facilities Management or Engineering
  • NCII Certificate required
  • At least 3 years of experience in Facilities Management, Engineering/Maintenance
  • Has strong technical knowledge of building systems and facilities equipment (Electrical/Mechanical/HVAC)
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, weekends/ holidays
  • Can start ASAP
