Position Summary:
Using project management best practices, the Senior Project Lead develops and manages the technical, financial, and administrative aspects of an assigned portfolio of complex or large projects (valued at approximately $1-3 M annual revenue).Ensuring they are administered and implemented in a manner consistent with CRDF Global and customers objectives. Activities may include: grant-making, conferences, meetings, workshops, training sessions, or other events.
Major Responsibilities:
• Develops and manages a portfolio of complex or large projects (valued at approximately $1-3M annual revenue). Designs and implements project plans using best practices for Project Management (for multiple projects) that may include charter, WBS, statements of work, schedules, deliverables, monitoring and evaluation plans, and project budgets; prepares and submits reports and proposed modifications if necessary. Conducts project forecasting and financial management
• Participates in managing stakeholder relations and networking with funders
• Manages sub-award budgets, including planning, administration and financial reporting of project expenses upon closeout of the sub-award(s)
• Provides oversight of the project team. If supervising staff, recruits, hires, on-boards staff; manages their workload; establishes work and development goals with staff; and provides feedback on performance standards.
• Develops concepts and new project ideas as part of proposal development process
• Represents program or projects at external events
• Supports other programs and staff, as required
• Travels within the MENA and to the U.S. as appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in related field. Masters degree preferred
• 3+ years of work experience in a related field , with 1+supervisory or talent management experience preferred (as defined by job requirements )
• Demonstrates strong project management skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English
