The BIM Specialist will be involved in the design phase of infrastructure projects in Scandinavia and Europe, with the occasional projects in Africa and Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design phase of the infrastructure project
- Responsible for the digital process of the design and, to some extents, the construction stages of the project
- Develop models and drawings compliant to BIM standards and workflows
- Collaborate with international counterparts/designers
- Perform Tasks with the minimum expectation of what is stated in the qualifications
- Project Handling for Small Scale Projects
- QAQC works of BIM Modelers
- Lead the Project or Work with minimal Supervision
- Reports progress status to BIM Technical Lead and Above for Small-Scale Projects
- For large Complex Projects, Work under Supervision
- Reports activities done to Senior BIM Specialists and above
- Administrative Tasks / Management
- Provide Onboarding and Guidance for BIM Modelers
- Resource Planning - Analyze Manhours (individual only) required to carry out Project Activities
Qualifications
- Trained as an engineer or an architect with a minimum of 5 years BIM design experience and management of information in BIM models as well as other BIM applications
- Experienced in civil structural design and with general knowledge of infrastructure and related disciplines such as road design, geotechnical engineering, drainage, and utility design, etc.
- Knowledgeable in Autodesk AutoCAD or potentially Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D; Revit family development
- Experience in working in common data environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise and SharePoint.
- Parametric design e.g. Dynamo coupling to Revit.
- Knowledgeable in concrete and steel design and detailing
- Knowledgeable in quantity take-offs
- Strongly motivated to become a BIM super user.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering and Management/Technology or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in using Revit Structures on projects.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in civil structural design and related disciplines.
- Knowledge of Revit and other Autodesk software and common data environments.
