BIM Specialist - Civil

Duties & Responsibility

• Develop and produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for civil infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading, corridors, profiles, and pipe networks
• Support engineers and design teams in delivering roads, drainage systems, site development, and utility layout plans
• Create and manage surface models, alignments, plan & profiles, assemblies, and cross-sections
• Prepare and organize drawing sets, ensuring adherence to project standards and templates
• Implement and maintain BIM standards in line with company and client requirements
• Coordinate with other discipline BIM technicians (e.g., structural, MEP) to ensure model integration and clash resolution
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs, bill of materials, and as-built drawings
• Maintain version control and file management using ProjectWise, SharePoint, or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
• Participate in internal reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Support project delivery schedules by managing modelling timelines and updates
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers in interdisciplinary coordination meetings

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Civil BIM Technician or Civil 3D Designer in infrastructure or land development projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including modelling of roads, grading, drainage systems, and site infrastructure
• Familiarity with BIM processes, standards, and workflows
• Experience working with BIM collaboration tools such as Navisworks, Revit, InfraWorks, etc.
• Good understanding of civil engineering principles related to highways, drainage, and site development
• Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and standards
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of local and international design standards
• Willingness to adapt to new software tools and evolving workflows

BIM Specialist - MEP

Duties & Responsibility

• Assist applying redline markups, comments, and minor revisions provided by the Design Engineering Team, under the supervision of a Senior BIM Specialist and BIM Team Lead.
• Liaise with Engineering Design Team, Immediate Supervisor, and the whole Team.
• Create basic parametric family when required.
• Maintain and develop model/s with strictly following:
• BW BIM Standards.
• BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Project-specific modelling requirements.
• Discipline base model coordination and participate with clash review.
• Naming conventions, layering, and parameters.
• Level Of Detail / Level Of Information (LOD/LOI).
• Common Data Environment (CDE) Workflow.
• Ensure that all 2D drawings, schedules and quantities take-off are consistently extracted from the 3D model.
• Regularly ensure the model remains accurate, well-organized, and passes self–quality assurance checks such as:
• Parameter validation.
• Annotation and document checks.
• Revisions and milestone submissions checks.
• Mentor and guide BIM Trainee.
• Promote BW processes, organizational culture and develop a proactive mindset.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• BIM-related training or certification (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ISO 19650) is an advantage.
• 2-5+ years total BIM experience in MEPF.
• Background working with consultants, contractors, or outsourcing BIM teams is a plus.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Navisworks (model review and basic clash detection) and Common Data Environments (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud / Autodesk Forma).
• Understanding of LOD 100 to LOD 500 model development.
• Familiarity with Dynamo or other BIM tools is an advantage.
• Ability to create accurate 3D BIM models and construction drawings.
• Ensure models comply with project standards, BIM manuals, and BEP requirements.
• Support clash detection and coordination activities.
• Revise and update models based on design changes and coordination comments.
• Assist in preparation of shop drawings, schedules, and BIM deliverables.
• Perform basic model checks and QA/QC reviews.
• Follow company and client BIM standards and workflows.
• Basic understanding of ISO 19650 and international BIM practices is a plus.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with BIM Leads, Senior BIM Specialists, engineers, and designers.
• Willing to receive and act on technical feedback.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Flexible and adaptable in a multi‑project environment.
• Willing to continuously learn and upskill in BIM technologies.
