The BIM Modeller (UD2 – C&S) supports the Civil & Structural (C&S) engineering team by producing high-quality BIM models, detailed drawings, and quantity schedules. The role requires close collaboration with both local and overseas teams to ensure coordinated, accurate, and timely project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce BIM models for C&S works, including preparation of general arrangement drawings, details, and schedules.
- Provide BIM and drafting support to the Singapore C&S engineering team.
- Prepare detailed drawings using CAD in accordance with project standards and requirements.
- Extract and produce quantity schedules using BIM tools.
- Collaborate and coordinate with CS, AR, and MEP disciplines across local and international project teams.
- Perform BIM modelling and coordination tasks, ensuring compliance with design standards, modelling guidelines, and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Drafting, or related field.
Experience
- Experience in BIM modelling or drafting for Civil & Structural projects.
- Familiarity working in multidisciplinary project environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (C&S) and AutoCAD.
- Experience with BIM 360 / ACC, Navisworks, or similar collaboration platforms.
- Ability to produce accurate drawings and schedules based on BIM models.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
