Responsibilities
- BIM modeling and CAD drafting and detailing for C&S discipline.
- Work under the direction of Design Engineer and BIM and CAD Job Captain.
- Ensure construction documents accuracy based on the updated BIM Models of other disciplines.
- Able to Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines design changes and model challenges.
- Adhere to Project BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
- Strictly follow Organization BIM content standards and development procedures.
- May take the lead on developing some discipline specific BIM modeling content for project.
- Print drawing sets for professional team and participate in discipline reviews.
- Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
- Able to export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
- High level of communication and good writing skills.
- Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.
Qualifications
- Must be well-versed and knowledgeable on BIM platform such as Autodesk Revit.
- Must be well-versed in AutoCAD for drafting, detailing, drawing linkage and clean up.
- Must be knowledgeable in Design Review platform such as Autodesk Navisworks for collaboration with professional staff.
- General understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish own discipline tasks.
Required Skills
- High level of communication and good writing skills.
- Knowledgeable on BIM platform such as Autodesk Revit.
- Well-versed in AutoCAD for drafting and detailing.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledgeable in Design Review platform such as Autodesk Navisworks.
- General understanding of interoperability between software.
