Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop detailed 3D building models using BIM software, from early design through construction stages.
Help bring architectural and engineering concepts to life in a smart, accurate, and organized digital model.
Produce clear and accurate 2D construction drawings, schedules, and details directly from the 3D model.
Work closely with the BIM Manager and design team to identify and resolve model issues and clashes early—before they become problems on site.
Ensure model elements are properly organized, labeled, and contain the required information.

Must Have

Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
Minimum 6 months of experience in a BIM-related role, including BIM Technician, BIM Modeler, Revit Modeler, BIM Intern, or a similar position.
Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and/or MEP drawings is an advantage.
Basic to intermediate understanding of how 3D BIM models relate to construction drawings and documentation.
Familiarity with Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices is required.

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (AS) and the National Construction Code (NCC).
Interest in or basic knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards.
Understanding of BIM workflows, model coordination, naming conventions, and information management is an advantage
Experience working on Australian projects is a strong advantage.
