Mission
The Depot Equipment BIM Modeler will be in charge to develop and generate drawings 2D/3D and implement them inside the depot workshop he will follow the interfaces with other entities and identify the eventual clashes
he will ensure the good insertion of Depot Equipment regarding the buildings architecture (steel structure, civil works, track, …)
Main Responsibilities
Objectives
- Generate and develop drawings from DEQ suppliers (2D/3D, isometrics, details, sections and plans). schematic wiring diagram, equipment mounting and cable tray
routings.
- Able to read Combined Service Drawings (CSD) from Civil contractors, Track alignment and Various drawings of other System Wide Contractors.
- Incorporate CAD Standards into the working drawings.
- Support Site team for the civil works inspection by provide drawings with more details (distance, cross sections, views, ….)
- help construction team for installation preparation (lifting plan, routing, cranes location, ….)
- Work on-site to update the models to reflect As-built condition
- Assist the project team with Model Visualizations.
- Create and modify Shop Drawing, Red-line Drawings & As-Built drawings.
Profile
Educational Requirements
- CAD License or equivalent
Desired Knowledge / Experience
- 3 years of relevant Design and Drafting experience
- Good understanding of discipline (C/S, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical) design components.
- Strong AutoCAD Skills; familiar with 2D/3D, Revit
- Experience of Depot Equipment design will be an added value
Behavioural Skills / Competencies
- Experience in both mechanical and electrical assignments.
- Autonomy
- Strong skills of Autocad software and equivalent and also Microsoft pack office
