At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by solving critical energy and infrastructure challenges. We are seeking a
BIM Manager to lead digital delivery and Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies across our
Energy & Power portfolio, including transmission, distribution, substations, renewables, and thermal assets.
You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, digital transformation, and project excellence through implementation of BIM standards, data-driven design, and collaborative workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies, standards, and execution plans (BEP)
- Manage BIM delivery across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring coordination and quality
- Oversee model integration, clash detection, and design reviews
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align BIM requirements and deliverables
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related matters and provide technical guidance
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, automation, and efficient workflows
- Support integration of BIM with broader digital tools and platforms
- Mentor and develop BIM coordinators and modelers, promoting best practices and capability growth
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of BIM experience
- Working experience in managing Energy & Power or infrastructure projects is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Solid understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM standards
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Relevant BIM or Autodesk certifications is an advantage
