What this job involves:
An experienced BIM Manager with preferably a Critical Infrastructure and Data Center background is being sought, to cover APAC wide project delivery, consultancy and modeling support for Projects for a Global Hyperscale Client. The successful candidate should be an able practitioner, who will have hands on experience of critical infrastructure and systems projects, BIM program management, design coordination, and project lifecycle execution and close out.
The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating high levels of project and technical leadership, stakeholder management, coordination and advice on critical infrastructure and data centre projects. This individual will be a key person in the team responsible for overseeing the established Design Models, collaborating with different teams and fostering effective alignment and communication channels
The ideal candidate will preferably have a technical background in architecture, engineering, or construction management. Prior hands on experience managing complex models, conducting clash detection, and navigating design milestones in data centres is expected and a pre requisite. This is an exciting role for a talented individual looking to excel in a regional role by establishing standardized workflows and ensuring comprehensive quality control across the portfolio. Reporting to the Work Dynamics Account Lead, he/she will be expected to manage the delivery of BIM requirements and projects through the region and report accordingly.
Job Scope and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Model Management
Direct the management and quality control of established Design Models across all project variants.
Act as the Client's primary BIM Stakeholder and Point of Contact (POC), leading project kick offs, design coordination, and issue resolution meetings.
Host and lead weekly BIM management meetings to coordinate and align strategic efforts with the broader project team.
Collaborate at a senior level with Architect Engineer (AE) and General Contractor (GC) teams to resolve complex model issues and enforce stringent quality control for the Design Model.
Manage project specific BIM execution activities, including the validation of BIM disseminations and the critical review and approval of BIM Execution Plans (BEP). Ensure that all deliverables are archived follow the client standard and requirements
Track model changes and product interfaces against canonical product models, escalating critical issues to project leadership when necessary.
VDC, Automation & Technology Strategy
Drive Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) technology adoption, leveraging Python and Dynamo to develop automation scripts that improve workflow efficiency.
Establish advanced Revit modeling strategies, including specialized workflows like viewport freezing to manage design options when Revit API limitations arise.
Identify program level opportunities for process improvements, initiating new protocols and documentation to standardize BIM operations.
Test, evaluate, and deploy new BIM initiatives.
4D BIM & Data Management
Lead 4D scheduling and quantity takeoff workflows, extracting accurate quantity takeoffs and phasing data to support project controls and estimating teams.
Implement and maintain client standard classification systems across all design models to ensure consistent data structures and reporting to closeout stage.
Manage the integration of model data into operational and facility management, ensuring asset parameters and operational data are accurately populated, mapped, and maintained for handover.
Support and guide AE teams in accurately executing asset tagging within Revit models and sheets, strictly following established standards.
Autodesk Forma Administration & Support
Serve as the lead administrator for Autodesk Forma environments, overseeing strategic project setup, user management, access rights, and archiving protocols.
Develop and refine Autodesk Forma standards to maximize workflow efficiency and platform consistency across the portfolio.
Implement future Autodesk Forma features and drive integration with other enterprise applications.
Oversee comprehensive end user training, onboarding, and ongoing support for internal and external stakeholders utilizing BIM tools.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex BIM related issues, escalating and coordinating directly with Autodesk support when necessary.
Track and analyze Autodesk Forma metrics, usage, and activities to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.
Clash Coordination, QA/QC & Reporting
Lead the clash detection process: review findings, direct design clash coordination meetings, and report status to executive teams.
Develop rollout documentation of standardized clash dashboards and Assemble processes.
Conduct rigorous QA/QC reviews at critical design milestones, communicating technical feedback during formal page turn meetings.
Ensure project compliance with overarching BIM standards by performing comprehensive checks at various project milestones.
Deliver comprehensive project deliverables, including QC reports, model postings, Autodesk Forma project trackers, monthly status reports, BIM activity reports, and compliance documentation.
Oversee data input for business intelligence reports and dashboards, ensuring custom metrics accurately identify and flag high risk or unplanned project scope (such as identifying items with a zero baseline where actual work exists).
Ensure highly organized documentation and record keeping across all platforms.

As a BIM Manger, you'll demonstrate your expertise in interacting with a wide range of clients and stakeholders - that's why impeccable people skills will be essential. Likewise, you must show your aptitude in developing improvement initiatives and continuous improvements. You must also display flexibility in managing daily activities using various systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution. Preference towards a Degree in Engineering, or Projects / Construction Management.
Familiar with local statutory submissions and approvals process
At least 8 years experience with previous role as a BIM Manager.
Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals
Expert level proficiency managing complex design models in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, alongside enterprise administration of Autodesk Forma.
Demonstrable experience in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), specifically writing and deploying Python and Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive tasks and enforce advanced data hygiene across models.
Advanced capability in 4D scheduling and quantity takeoff workflows to support project controls and estimating.
Deep understanding of applying standard classification systems to map design data seamlessly into operational facility management platforms. Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, etc.).
