Role Description

As a BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination, developing and maintaining construction drawings, and ensuring the integration of architecture, MEP, and civil engineering models. You will perform reviews, clash detection, and maintain updated files of 3D models. You will also support project teams with BIM implementation and ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures. This is a full-time, office based position located in Makati City.

Key Responsibilities

BIM & CAD Execution

• Generate BIM models, clash detections, and technical drawings using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Create shop drawings for construction (e.g., CSD, ISD) and perform clash analyses and construction simulations where required.
• Analyze and process drawings, sketches, mark-ups, and other input data to produce accurate outputs.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations Teams for accurate modeling and final deliverables.

Collaboration & Compliance

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., DE Manager, consultants, clients, vendors) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review all drawings for adherence to BIM and CAD standards, ensuring compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
• Provide timely resolution to issues related to non-compliance and technical challenges.

Technical Support & Innovation

• Assist the pre-contracts team in tender submissions through the development of technical and graphical presentations.
• Promote BIM awareness and ensure alignment between various departments during project execution.
• Develop learning materials to support and educate project teams on BIM tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Sanitary Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant drafting experience and proficiency in BIM modeling processes.
• Hands-on expertise with BIM software such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of generating shop drawings, clash analysis, and construction simulations.
• Advanced understanding of BIM processes, including BIM Execution Plans and coordination.
• Proficiency in adhering to CAD/BIM standards and resolving compliance issues.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Passion for technology and construction with a strong work ethic.
