Job Summary
Ensures seamless coordination of BIM models across disciplines and maintains model integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring integration and coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
- Facilitate coordination meetings, lead clash detection sessions, and oversee model federation using Navisworks or equivalent platforms.
- Enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), standards, and project protocols across all project teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related communication among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Coordinate with BIM Project Leader to align BIM deliverables with project milestones and schedules.
- Conduct reviews of federated models for consistency, accuracy, and design compliance.
- Ensure clash-free and data-rich models ready for construction and documentation purposes.
- Implement efficient workflows to improve collaboration and reduce errors in project execution.
- Prepare and present BIM coordination reports to BIM Manager, BIM Project Leader, Executive Manager, and clients.
- Provide progress updates, highlight issues, and recommend solutions during coordination meetings.
Qualifications
- Architecture or Engineering graduate with professional licensed.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM modeling, including at least 2 years as a BIM Coordinator.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM-related tools and platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), coordination workflows, and project standards.
- Experienced in facilitating BIM coordination meetings.
- Knowledgeable with advanced project management and collaboration platforms.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage BIM deliverables, schedules, and quality assurance.
