Role Description

The Orenda Billing Manageroversees the daily operations of our mental health billing department, ensuring accurate coding, timely claim submissions, and effective management of accounts receivable. Working closely with our Finance Leader, the Manager willoptimize revenue cycle strategies, manage staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA) to maximize cash flow. Key duties include coding audits, denial management, management reporting, provider timecard management, and training.

Qualifications

• Generally requires 3-5+ years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management, with proven supervisory experience in healthcare billing.
• Proficiency with EMR/billing software (Simple Practice, Headway, Lytec, etc.) and the Google suite of tools
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret and evaluate billing data
• Experience with Revenue Cycle Management and familiarity with associated best practices
• Deep understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding and insurance contracting.
• Working knowledge of insurance guidelines and compliance standards
• Proven experience managing and motivating a partially remote workforce.
• Can work in a Hybrid setup (Paraaque) and Eastern Standard Time.
