Billing Assistant

About the role

Process billing and collection of cash transactions and over-all in charge on the preparation of Official Receipts (Arrastre/ Storage/ Reefer/ Equipment Rental and Miscellaneous Charges) for Cash Billing Transaction of clients.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare billing for Batangas Container Terminal clients and proforma billing of charges on arrastre, storage, reefer, and other charges upon request.
• Verifies documents presented by clients for authenticity and compares this information with uploaded data from manifest for import arrastre.
• Checks the completeness and validity of documents presented by clients with emphasis on Bureau of Custom authorized signatories on various permits for export arrastre.
• Ensures adherence to prescribed cash handling and queuing procedures based on company policy.
• Ensures correct usage of corresponding Revolving Fund and On-Account deposit of client before finalizing the billing invoice.
• Prepares daily collection reports and records all check and cash payments received for submission to treasury and regularly submits applicable Expanded Withholding Tax Certificates secured from clients.
• Performs daily reconciliation of transactions to ensure accurate and complete posting of revenues to Oracle Fusion.

Qualities, Skills and Experience

• Graduate of any Business Course
• With experience or training preferably in service-related industry
• Knowledgeable in billing and accounting
• With good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Open to fresh graduates
