Role Description The Billing & Collection Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Sta. Mesa, Manila. This role is responsible for preparing, issuing, and verifying customer invoices, ensuring that billing information is accurate, complete, and aligned with company policies. The Billing & Collection Assistant monitors accounts receivable, follows up on outstanding payments, and coordinates with clients to address billing questions or discrepancies. Day-to-day tasks include updating customer records, recording payments, reconciling balances, and generating basic financial or aging reports for management review. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams such as finance and operations to resolve issues, support month-end closing activities, and maintain clear documentation for audits and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Strong finance and analytical skills, with the ability to review invoices, reconcile accounts, and interpret basic financial data.
  • Experience or familiarity with debt collection and follow-up processes, including managing aging receivables and arranging payment plans when needed.
  • Customer service and communication skills to handle billing inquiries professionally and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic accounting or billing software; strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Relevant experience in billing, collections, or accounting support, preferably in a corporate or facilities services environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Manila, manage multiple tasks under time constraints, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
