We're looking for a
Spanish-Bilingual Medical Assistant who's comfortable in
Ortho, Sports Med, and PT settings—and can handle patient care
and tech without stress-loading. If you can multitask, translate like a pro, and keep clinics running smoothly, this one's for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients, take vitals, and document medical histories accurately
- Assist providers during orthopedic, sports medicine, and physical therapy visits and minor procedures
- Communicate and translate clearly for Spanish-speaking patients to ensure full understanding of care plans
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Document encounters, referrals, imaging requests, and follow-ups in the EHR
- Support physical therapy workflows, including patient prep and basic exercise guidance
- Handle patient calls, appointment coordination, and clinical communication using RingCentral or similar phone/communication systems
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and administrative staff to keep daily operations on track
Key Responsibilities:
- 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Hands-on experience in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and/or Physical Therapy
- Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written—must-have)
- Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Experience using RingCentral or comparable VoIP/telehealth communication platforms
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and patient-first mindset
Work-from-Home Device Requirement:
- Device: Personal computer with Intel Core i5 or higher, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
- Internet: Wired connection with at least 50 Mbps download speed, plus a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or prepaid Wi-Fi)
- Work Environment: Quiet, well-lit space with minimal background noise
