Job Description

Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager to own and improve our marketing engine across both digital and physical channels.

You will be responsible for deploying and optimizing approximately:

  • $10,000 - $20,000/month in digital marketing, primarily Meta and Google.
  • $5,000 - $10,000/month in physical, event, partnership, and offline marketing.

This is an execution role, not simply a strategy or agency-management position. You should be comfortable personally managing campaigns, analyzing results, developing creative tests, coordinating with our team, and deciding where our next marketing dollar should go.

Core Responsibilities

Digital Growth

  • Personally manage Meta and Google advertising.
  • Allocate a $10,000 - $20,000 monthly digital budget based on performance.
  • Build, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns.
  • Continuously test audiences, offers, creative, products, and landing pages.
  • Develop retargeting and customer reactivation strategies.
  • Track CAC, ROAS, MER, AOV, conversion rate, and revenue by channel.
  • Recommend when we should scale, cut, or shift marketing spend.

Physical, Event & Partnership Marketing

Manage and help deploy approximately $5,000 - $10,000/month toward offline customer acquisition opportunities, including:

  • Trade shows and industry events
  • Local and regional events
  • Product samples and promotional campaigns
  • Partnerships and referral opportunities
  • Direct-mail or physical outreach tests
  • Sponsorships and other experimental acquisition channels

Every meaningful initiative should have a clear objective and, wherever possible, a way to track leads, orders, revenue, and ROI.

Creative & Offer Development

  • Build a consistent pipeline of new advertising concepts.
  • Develop briefs for designers, creators, and UGC partners.
  • Identify winning hooks, offers, products, audiences, and messaging.
  • Work with the sales and product teams to develop bundles and promotions.
  • Continuously test ways to improve conversion rate and average order value.

U.S. / China Coordination

  • Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Coordinate marketing priorities with our U.S. and China-based teams.
  • Translate U.S. customer feedback and advertising data into actionable product insights.
  • Coordinate product launches, samples, creative assets, and promotions with our China team.

How Success Will Be Measured

The goal is profitable, measurable revenue growth, not simply spending the marketing budget.

We will track:

  • Total revenue attributable to marketing
  • New customer revenue
  • CAC
  • ROAS / MER
  • Qualified leads generated
  • Website conversion rate
  • Average order value
  • Repeat customer rate
  • Offline/event ROI
  • Number and quality of marketing experiments launched
  • Percentage of experiments that produce scalable opportunities

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is fluent or highly proficient in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Experience with Shopify, ecommerce, print-on-demand, promotional products, B2B lead generation, events, email/SMS, influencers, UGC, or marketing automation is a plus.
  • Has personally managed at least $10,000+ per month in digital advertising.
  • Has strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads.
  • Understands U.S. ecommerce and customer acquisition.
  • Has experience evaluating marketing based on profitability rather than vanity metrics.
  • Is comfortable testing unconventional marketing channels.
  • Is analytical, entrepreneurial, and highly self-directed.
  • Can coordinate effectively across U.S. and China-based teams.

Application Requirements

Please include:

  1. Examples of Meta and Google campaigns you personally managed.
  2. The largest monthly marketing budget you have personally controlled.
  3. Specific examples of improving CAC, ROAS, leads, or revenue.
  4. An example of a marketing experiment you proposed and executed yourself.
  5. Your experience marketing to U.S. customers.
  6. Your English and Mandarin proficiency.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST)
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
