o For seamless communication and operations, the customer support team assists with updates to system records, including email or address changes, guaranteeing that all information remains current and accurate o Representatives conduct verifications with the California air quality board, Texas DMV, Safer, and California intrastate sites to check for compliance and insurance certifications, ensuring carriers comply with various regulationso Representatives assist premium broker accounts in the insurance and compliance certification process, facilitating the registration of carriers who are selected to move freight for them, a service offered exclusively to these broker accountsRMIS Outbound: This area is dedicated to collecting carrier insurance certifications (certificates of insurance). It proactively handles:
o Expiration Monitoring—Soliciting insurance providers to collect renewed insurance certifications that are nearing expiration or have already expired, ensuring timely renewal and compliance. o Type 3 account support—Accommodating additional specialized coverages and bespoke policy wording to meet the nuanced needs of a broker beyond primary auto, cargo, workers compensation, and general liability.
o Certification Management - Overseeing the entire process of insurance certification, including tracking to renewals and collecting insurance coverage details.
RMIS Data Processing: Focused on processing certificate of insurance data, this component encompasses: o Insurance Sorting—Methodical categorization and sorting of carrier insurance information to streamline processes. o Data Notations—Adding essential annotations and notations to insurance data for clarity and accuracy. o Data Entry—Entry of insurance-related data, ensuring its precision and reliability for operational use. Accurate and reliable entry of insurancerelated data is paramount, as errors can lead to a significant financial issue for Truckstop.
