Job Description

We are looking for Bid Assistant who is responsible on different sales departments of SMSGT particularly the Government, Enterprise and Utilities Cluster in their bid requirements to be able to generate revenue to SMSGT.

  • Reviews bid documents of the procuring entities;
  • Prepares checklist of requirements based on the bidding documents;
  • Prepares the required forms based on the bidding documents, if not provided by the procuring entity, creates forms taking into consideration all the information required are present;
  • Coordinates with Legal on the issuance of Secretarys Certificate regarding the authorized representative of SMSGT for the bid;
  • Coordinates with project owner on the technical documentations and signing of the documents for submission;
  • Coordinates with concerned Department Heads with regard to the requirements on completed contract, ongoing contracts, personnel;
  • Prepares Net Financial Contracting Capacity (NFCC);
  • Coordinates with Finance on the issuance of committed line of credit in lieu of NFCC or Bank Guarantee as a form of Performance bond;
  • Prepares the markings and sealing of bid submissions;
  • Compiles all the documents for bid submission;
  • Prepares the required post qualification documents;
  • Responsible for keeping data organized, safe and available. This may involve maintaining paper files, electronic files or even databases;
  • Provides administrative assistance which may include but not limited to filing, scanning, preparing mail and maintaining enough office supplies needed for bid submissions;
  • Bachelors/College degree, any field
  • At least two (2) years experience in handling government procurement under RA9184
